What are Guide and Solve modes?+

Guide mode helps students work through concepts with syllabus-aware prompts and explanations of why an answer is right or wrong. Solve mode focuses on completing a concrete task (for example a worksheet step) while staying inside curriculum context and plan entitlements. Neither mode claims to replace a teacher or guarantee board marks.

How is Mentara different from ChatGPT, Claude and others ?+

Consumer chat tools are open-ended assistants. Mentara is multi-tenant, entitlement-controlled, and curriculum-scoped for institutions, teachers, and students — with institutional billing, dual-pool metering, and privacy operations those tools do not provide. We do not claim Mentara is smarter than ChatGPT or Claude.

What happens when we hit a usage limit?+

Self-serve plans hard-stop at the included envelope. Upgrade, or wait for the daily or monthly reset. Mentara does not auto-bill pay-as-you-go overages on self-serve plans.

Do you sell classroom digital boards?+

No. Mentara is the learning and governance layer. It complements connected classrooms; it does not replace interactive boards.

Does Mentara replace other content sites?+

No. Mentara complements curriculum materials and teacher workflows. It is an AI learning and governance layer, not a replacement for textbook companions, board notes libraries, or interactive classroom boards.

Do you support parents today?+

Parent experience is on the near-term roadmap. Today Mentara serves institutions, teachers, and students, with progress visibility for educators.

Are you SOC2, DPDP, PII, GDPR certified?+

We operate with security and privacy controls designed for institutional use (multi-tenant isolation, access controls, TLS in transit, quota enforcement). Formal certification is on our roadmap. Ask for the current Trust FAQ , we do not claim SOC 2, ISO, or GDPR certification today.

Is Mentara just ChatGPT for schools?+

No. Mentara is multi-tenant, entitlement-controlled, and curriculum-scoped, with institutional billing and privacy operations consumer chat tools do not provide.

How does tenant wipe and privacy offboarding work?+

Institutions can request tenant erasure for offboarding. We delete or anonymise personal data from active systems within a reasonable period, except records we must retain for tax, billing, or legal reasons. See the Privacy Policy for DPDP-oriented rights and contact paths.
