Which plan should I choose?+
Students and independent teachers use Student or Teacher Free, Starter, or Growth via self-serve checkout. Budget schools and coaching centres use Mentara Classroom. Mid-market CBSE/ICSE schools use Mentara School. Premium schools and chains use Mentara Campus. Multi-campus groups use Enterprise (custom). Compare per-user limits in the institution table, or Talk to Sales if you are unsure.
Do you offer annual or multi-year discounts?+
Self serve annual plans keep a 10% upfront discount. Institutions may receive 15–20% on multi-year contracts discounts as applicable.
What is dual-pool metering?+
Each plan includes a daily AI chat interaction pool and a monthly generation pool (notes, quizzes, assessments, and related uploads where listed). Pools are metered separately. Generations do not silently consume chat credits, and chat does not silently consume generation quotas.
Do you support pilots?+
"Yes. Pilot term is 3 to 4 months with capped discount and mandatory auto-repricing to list terms at pilot end. Pilot agreements include a conversion checkpoint and reprice date.
Do pilots include a usage buffer?+
Yes. Paid pilots (typically 3 to 4 months) can include a soft AI usage buffer so teaching does not stop mid-term at a hard limit. At pilot end, usage converts to standard plan caps and pricing reprices to contracted list terms.
What support is included?+
Email and chat support are included across all plans.
Can we get a custom SLA?+
Yes. Custom SLA is available for Enterprise with surcharge, as documented in Commercial Terms.
Is there a setup fee for Institution setup?+
None on Mentara Classroom or Mentara School. Mentara Campus and Enterprise include a setup fee shown on the quote.
Is there a minimum contract value for B2B?+
Yes. Minimum contract value applies by plan to protect implementation and support quality.
Can we use this for both institutions and direct learners?+
Yes. The platform supports both B2B institutions and B2C individual learners and teachers.
Is pricing fixed forever?+
No. Pricing is reviewed periodically based on usage and infrastructure costs, with prior commercial communication.
How do institution plans bill?+
Institution plans bill per student per year on an annual invoice or purchase order. Teacher seats are included free at the published ratio. There is no self-serve checkout for institutions — use Talk to Sales or Contact Enterprise.
Can we use this for both institutions and direct learners?+
Yes. The platform supports both B2B institutions and B2C individual learners and teachers.
